A new study has appeared in the news in which our scientists have agreed on the implausibility of creationism and in its place they offer the theory of evolution. The national center for science education (NCSE) is rallying their people to keep “scientific creationism” out of the public schools so we are steered to rely exclusively on the Darwinian model of evolution. What makes this even more interesting, CBS conducted a poll in November of 2004 in which the majority stated that they do not think that humans evolved, and if they did, God is who guided the evolution. And then there is the amazing consensus that they want the Darwinian Theory taught in school even though they don’t accept it as their own personal philosophy. This is an old argument that reappears repeatedly and centers on measurable linear thoughts and objects, as opposed to intuitional hunches which often mutate into fanatical belief. But the ‘facts’ keep changing as does the logical arrangement. There is information we can state in our schools about evolution for informational purposes. The established fact of origin that is offered is we have evolved from primates; and that is demonstrable by the fossils that show the ancestral likelihood of the human race being a logical progression that is based on chimp-like fossils. We have seen DNA disproved by our agreed-upon legal system and witnessed that voting on Truth is problematic, as seen with the murder trial of O.J. Simpson.
Perhaps the scientists are mainly arguing against the Christian faith and the concept of the time period presented in the King James Bible concerning the length of time measured in earth days that it took to create the universe. When the Bible was written little was known about the Universe that we have now accepted. The earth is the subject, disregarding all of the points of light that we now know are suns, planets, and moons. Or consider the Hindus with their acceptance of long periods of time being an out-breath by Vishnu to be followed by an in-breath that results in the destruction of all life in the known dimension.
It seems that both ways of looking at our origin is in error, and although both have elements of truth, neither offers a reasonable answer. The scientists want material proof that can be demonstrated under controlled circumstances and can be repeated so as to make the hypotheses true for all time and beyond a reasonable doubt.
In the case of creationism, it has been pigeonholed into a belief that faith is the answer to the simple unanswerable questions of life. First you must believe in a divine creator that at times seems to have a bad attitude or perhaps a boundless sense of humor. This divine creator loves you but will hate anyone that is confused enough to believe in anything but the books that mortal men have written about God. In fact, more wars for the sake of a particular God can be tied to the blood-shed that is still raging today all around the globe.
If we are to accept either of these theories as a good thing to teach our children, Santa Claus has more to offer than either of these traditions of explanation of origin. He at least gives the toys that will momentarily please the child’s thirst for something new, without expectation of any reward, like a monetary research grant or a piece of gold placed in the collection box which of course these days is a promissory note.
What is the most difficult might actually be the easiest if only humanity wasn’t so in need of fairy tales. We love to make things more difficult than they are and then spend our time trying to solve the puzzle. It again goes back to “common sense just isn’t so common” which unfortunately is an over-simplification to the hard questions of life, but why are the simple things so difficult? Our parents couldn’t tell us why the sky is blue; let alone how or why we ended up here. And where is here by the way?
More likely it is not to be logically understood; it is to be experienced... Reject the noise that the answer has to be learned, look without your eyes into where you are, and seek not to measure or photograph. Be willing to see as you saw before you had eyes, and hear and smell before your senses bombarded you with sensations. Then you will be better prepared to accept that which you really are. Can it be that simple? No, you might find that tremendous effort will give way to the impossible.
The scientists are edging in the right direction, at least the ones that are sizing up string theory and such. But a leap must be made to grasp the superior perspective where logic is resultant concept. Ironically faith is required, not in a conjured up God, but in a higher Self which is quite possibly the Real you. It remains our duty to encourage looking within for an answer to all paths and meaning for so few are inclined to be concerned. I am reminded of Joseph Sadony who avoided the programming of the local Michigan school and found a vast reservoir of information virtually untapped by the majority. What he termed the ‘human radio’ is here and available for those who look, sees, and allows a clear tranquil viewing port to guide them. Then there is beyond the manifest.

This world is the dream of him who sleeps:
The dreamer imagines it is lasting until suddenly the dawn of Death breaks and he finds himself free from the darkness of illusion and error.
Then seeing his eternal home, he will laugh at the sorrows he endured.
