Many things that I heard from Richard Rose were unique and not heard very often or at all. He talked to me often of the elasticity of youth and how it is so vitally important to start while young to push the barriers because the older a person gets the more rigid and inflexible you become. That statement has proven itself in not only the aging of the body but also the solidifying of the thinking patterns. I can speak with authority on only one thing and that is the experience that I have witnessed in this lifetime so this information was taught to me but I must omit I was not that good at it in my youth. As I get older the thought processes have become more in tune with the primal form that they arose out of and some of that programmed pattern is pragmatic to the direction that I found is more beneficial to the root essence research.
The phrase elasticity of youth is directly related to sexual abstinence and the ability to transmute energy from the miracle of creation into what Rose termed mental quantum. Perhaps I shouldn't talk about this within a public forum but for those who have the ears to hear it and intuitively may recognize the possibility concerning the value of such a thing I will mention it. To take a vacation from the programming that we have been given which would have us reproduce and then wither on the vine and have our offspring mindlessly repeat our cycle is part of the program. Even more nonproductive living is to waste the seed or dispose of it for make-believe entertainment. There is another way which is more creative in realms of the uncharted that is the elixir of the spirit While we are young we can safely contain that reproductive energy and use it to increase our mental capacity for the purpose of invention, mundane healing or ultimate definition.
There are a few dangers to be conscious of while increasing the mental voltage higher than what nature normally allows and every individual will have different things to look out for. Raising a family has its dangers also but that can be postponed. The energy contained will be explosive it is the creative seed of nature. Luckily we have been provided a safety valve that only functions correctly when we are young. For women it is much different for they have their monthly cycles to contend with and keeping a record of different mood swings throughout that month is very important. Cycles may be noticed by women as well as men as we progress through the month and build what Harold W. Percival (1868 - 1953) called a lunar germ. It will be seen that it repeats again and again.
There is tremendous magic with this method and Rose would recommend it to everyone who wants clarity of thought. He often recommended trying it for 28 or 30 days and read a complex book like J.J. Van Der Leeuw’s “The Conquest of Illusion” before you start and then again after completion of 30 days abstinence and see if you notice any difference in your perception. A physics book will work or anything that is difficult to understand. The ability to understand a written works theory may take you further than the visible dimension so after powering up the dynamo your view may be heightened... If your body's glands are functioning in a normal manner I have no doubt that you will notice a profound difference, try it and see.

Re: " The elasticity of youth "
Nice post, and very germane to our efforts.
As to choice of forum, some basic information on celibacy is already being posted in blogs, which is fine, and there is a members-only section of the Forums set up for discussions on celibacy and sex (it will be visible automatically to those who have "member" permissions and are logged-in). Although RR didn't give detailed instructions at public events, he did advocate celibacy in general terms publicly as you have done. It will be up to the blog writers to decide which forums to use.
As a reminder there are three levels of access: 1) public, such as the descriptive pages on the system, groups, related teachings, and the blogs; 2) registered users: anyone who registers at the site with a valid email address; 3) members: people who are personally known to us and who are following the Albigen system, being currently an active member of TAT or a satellite group, or formerly a member of such a group, still interested in following this direction, but who currently don't have a group for one reason or another.
Blogs are viewable by the general public; the general forums can be viewable only by registered users and posted to by members; the member forums can only be read and posted to by members. Capiche?
