Testing onetwothree what are we fighting 4… sorry I guess I am showing my age with that one. That’s from an old song from the Vietnam era that made a lot of sense at the time written by Berkeley's Country Joe McDonald who wrote the "Fixin' To Die Rag."

Hello…is there any one out there? That is more the question that we all face when dealing with the mundane world in which we are a part of now isn’t it? The word paradigm was new to me at the time, it was the early 70s and a word that Richard Rose repeated often. Joseph Chilton Pearce had used the concept of a paradigm constructing his book 'Magical Child'. The concept of a Bardo is similar though is much older and nebulous dating back to the 'Tibetan Book of the Dead' and other works that came out of Tibet. A bardo is a realm that is a dream state that during death we pass thru which is occupied by good and evil beings. Sound like a vampire movie or a little closer to home?

What is Reality? Is it a state of mind? If so is that a dream that we dream and what is it that dreams the dream? Is that the real you?; Or the real me? Or...

Re: Is there anyone out there?

Hi Gary

Ideally or Really?

I have become aware that reality is where our intent is focused at any given point in time: past/present/future. In alluding to the word "dream" I see it as just a metaphore to communicate the idea of "different dimensions/paradigms". So to sum the two ideas; reality may simply be what we choose to be aware of. The generator for dimensions are ideas.

Re: Is there anyone out there?

Hi there Dale, good to see you here in this blog bardo. It is a metaphorically burdened situation that we have to use words to convey intent. As for dreaming reality that seems to occur of its own with no provocation so do we have intent or does intent have us? Do we dream that we have intent? I can’t say that we naturally have freedom to choose our intentions for we all have been born into a situation that we have not intended to be born in to. I can think of a couple situations that I could have done without! Maybe there are some people that remember a previous life or the before birth realm where they planned out this life time but I do not and there is little evidence that anyone does. So can we choose what we want to be aware of or does that just happen and we except the condition as our reality?

Welcome Dale. Gary said you're a friend, so it's nice that you're interested.

Re: Is there anyone out there?

Are we intent or is intention us, is what I call in the flux. It appears to me that we send and receive to what, would be our point of intention at any given place in time and space which would be intent or even alignment within the flux as to a dream.

The answer as to can we choose: Yes, as does all else. We are bound to bump into other paradigms/dimensions as we are bumped into. That's the beauty of it. As you have said Gary, nebulous.

The absolute is changing or should I say learning/expanding; intention/intent. If that is the case then I don't have "it" "it" just is and I am "it".

If I wasn't so blind to it, I wouldn't be such a *hit.

Thanks for bumping into me.
